Missed a newborn photography session, never got round to doing sitting photos? You won’t be disappointed by booking a cake smash photo shoot or celebrating your baby's first birthday with us.

A cake smash photo shoot involves planning, but don't worry the team at Milk Photography Studio will take care of everything. We have lots of nappy covers and outfits to choose from, keeping simplicity in mind always.

We sort the cake for you taking the stress out of planning, so speak to us about what colour you’re after.

For balloons we work with Champers Party shop, they never disappoint and help us set up which makes everything so much easier! If you decide to have a balloon wreath you’re welcome to take these away after your session, in time for your baby’s first birthday. An example of her work bellow.

Our cake smash photo shoots start at $300 this covers your session fee and birthday cake, images, framed photos and digital file packages are additional.

A lot of babies actually have no interest in the cake, it can get very messy so we take this as it comes. We do find that our clients prefer the images when the cake isn’t actually smashed, but that’s up to you to decide.

In these sessions we work quite quickly to make sure we get all the cake smash photos then move onto family photos, so you have a range to choose from.

After your cake smash photo shoot you will be invited back to our studio, usually within a week to view all the edited photos and place your order with us.
